My Soul Becomes A Robin

All around me
Is this concrete kingdom,
Filled with casuistry,
That causes me misery.

The buildings around are concrete,
The hearts beating within them are concrete,
An outward varnish of civilization and morality.

Polished surfaces
That reflect an ominous darkness,
Steal away
From the glory of springtime promise.

Blinded by the mirage of beauty,
They pay no heed as I toll the bell
To awaken them to the deceit of their reality.

Forlorn, my soul begins to despair
Befuddled by appearances of actuality,
I start to trip, when…

Lo! there do I see,
Yonder’s nature’s kingdom,
Filled with innocence,
That infuses me with ecstasy.

Enthused with an alien joy,
My chest heaves,
My heart leaps.

My soul becomes a robin
And flies and sings,
With my chest bursting and heart bobbing,
Exuberantly I trill, heralding truth, on my new wings.

Well it’s amazing but if you use easy vocabs then I think it will be more interesting and understandable…

Thank you for taking the time to read and reply. I do understand what you mean by using simpler vocabulary. However, I do not intentionally use any vocabulary that would be difficult for the reader, it is just best expressed by me in those words. Additionally, we learn new words and ways of expression through literature. If, with my work I have introduced some new terms to your vocabulary, I am humbled and honoured by it.
If, you read another poem I wrote, earlier (https://skysrealm.wordpress.com/2015/02/20/sitting-here-all-alone/) you might find the vocabulary comparatively simpler. The reason is simply because I could express my feelings better with those words.
