Balancing the facade’s string,
Stumbled, I lost my footing,
Saving an unreal illusion
I fell into a swamp of confusion,
Pleasing the dreary grey world,
Neglected myself – lonely and curled
In the corner of my room
Like the sanctuary of a womb,
Observing the trends in the garden
I forgot to water my core, thus it hardened.
I shattered my core’s heart
And it left me, saying, I depart!
I remained not even a shell
Of who I used to be before I fell,
Washed away by time’s waters,
I rise and fall, rise and fall,
Sailing through life’s ravaging wars,
I rise and fall, rise and fall.
