And what has long befallen me
Will reach its timely death
And patience is the golden virtue
That I must hold onto every breath.
It is surely a long long road
Of trials and tribulations
Of sorrows and afflictions
But the fruit is well worth the thorns’ pricks.
For God is with those who have patience
Thus, I’ll seek help through it and prayers
And when my hand grasps and plucks the long due fruit
The stinging pain will be but a distant memory.
